Job Overview

As a Sandwich Maker, your primary role will be to prepare a variety of sandwiches following our established recipes. You will ensure that every sandwich is made to high standards, both in taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

Preparing Sandwiches

• Create a diverse range of sandwiches according to approved recipes.
• Ensure each sandwich is of high quality, focusing on taste and presentation.
• Slice ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, and sauces as per specified standards.

Managing Ingredients

• Maintain an adequate supply of all necessary ingredients for sandwich preparation.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of stored ingredients, discarding any that are expired or unfit for use.

Ensuring Food Safety Standards

• Keep all work areas clean and organized during and after preparation.
• Follow food safety procedures to ensure the safety of ingredients and meals.
• Adhere to personal hygiene guidelines and use appropriate tools.

Team Coordination

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Assist team members as needed, especially during peak hours.

Creativity and Recipe Improvement

• Suggest ways to enhance flavors and presentations of sandwiches.
• Experiment with new recipes while ensuring they meet quality and taste standards.

Customer Interaction (When Necessary)

• Take sandwich orders directly from customers and ensure their needs are met.
• Recommend available sandwich options based on customer preferences.

Time Management

• Prepare orders quickly and efficiently while maintaining high quality.
• Organize tasks to meet customer demands during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or similar roles is a plus.
