APT Global Marine is currently seeking skilled 4G/6G MIG & Arc Welders and Structural Steel / Pipe Fabricators to join our team in Doha, Qatar. If you have a solid background in welding and pipe fabrication within the oil & gas and marine industries, we want to hear from you!
This is a full-time opportunity for experienced welders and fabricators to contribute their skills to exciting and challenging projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for handling key tasks in structural steel and pipe fabrication, specifically in the oil & gas and marine sectors. 2. Responsibilities
As a MIG & Arc Welder or Fabricator, you will perform the following duties:
- Welding:
Perform MIG and Arc welding on a variety of materials including structural steel and pipes. Ensure that all welds meet the required standards for strength and durability, as per technical specifications and safety regulations. - Fabrication:
Cut, shape, and fabricate materials to create structural components and pipe systems. You will work with steel, stainless steel, and other metals to create customized parts based on blueprints, sketches, or project specifications. - Inspection and Quality Control:
Inspect all welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure they meet the required quality standards. Perform tests such as visual inspections and pressure tests to identify defects or imperfections and rectify them promptly. - Technical Drawings:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand the required fabrication and welding specifications for each project. Accurately follow the guidelines to ensure precise execution. - Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while working in the field. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following the safety protocols for welding and fabrication tasks. - Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance and repair work on welding equipment and tools. Ensure that all machinery is in good working condition to avoid delays and ensure safety.
3. Qualifications

- Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in welding and fabrication, specifically within the oil & gas and marine industries. Candidates with hands-on experience in structural steel and pipe fabrication will be given priority. - Skills and Certifications:
- Proficiency in MIG and Arc welding techniques, including 4G and 6G welding positions.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, welding codes, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with pipe bending, cutting, and shaping techniques.
- Certification in welding and fabrication, such as AWS or equivalent, is preferred.
- Visa and Work Authorization:
Candidates must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa and an NOC (No Objection Certificate) to transfer sponsorship. - Language Skills:
