Are you skilled in estimating project costs and have experience in the aluminum industry? We are looking for an Estimator to join our team in Manama. In this role, you will analyze project documents to provide accurate cost estimates and work closely with suppliers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, bills of quantities, and other documentation to estimate costs.
- Research and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and quotes.
- Evaluate data that impacts costs, such as currency exchange rates and productivity levels.
- Assess financial, technical, and operational risks associated with projects.
- Meet with clients and inspect construction sites to understand project requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest construction technologies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team and communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
- Draft detailed proposals outlining estimated materials, costs, and timelines.
- Perform risk assessments to prepare for potential project deviations.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on project estimates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the aluminum industry.
- Background in carpentry is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
