We are looking for a skilled Project Cost Control Specialist to join our team in Dammam. In this role, you will develop and manage planning and cost control strategies that align with our organizational goals. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for planning and cost control in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Lead the creation and documentation of planning methodologies and cost control procedures.
• Establish and manage the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to guide project execution.
• Assist in preparing baseline budgets, manpower plans, and project schedules based on the approved scope of work.
• Monitor and report on project progress using tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
• Create and maintain dashboards for cost plans using project databases.
• Review project documentation to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
• Verify cost estimates for project variations during execution.
• Provide technical support for tenders, contracts, and change orders as needed.
• Maintain a database of historical project costs for benchmarking and budget analysis.
• Prepare project progress reports and status updates for management.
• Identify and track project risks and trends, providing feedback to relevant staff.
• Assist in the preparation of claims for time extensions in coordination with the commercial team.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Project Planning, Scheduling, and Cost Control Professional Certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in project cost control within the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Previous experience with Aramco projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
