The role of the Technician will involve a variety of tasks related to assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing of mechanical components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that parts and assemblies meet quality standards, using technical drawings to perform precise operations, and working under minimal supervision. 2. Responsibilities
As a Technician, your duties will include the following:
- Assembly Tasks: Loading assemblies onto carts, performing various mechanical operations, and assembling mechanical components accurately.
- Inspection: Filling out and signing incoming inspection sheets, conducting visual inspections, and recording findings on quality control (QC) sheets.
- Cleaning Operations: Performing cleaning tasks on fuel nozzles and related parts, including Glass Bead cleaning for Endcovers, and utilizing contact cleaner (CRC).
- Engraving & Marking: Engraving part numbers and job identifiers on components, ensuring accurate and legible marks.
- Pressure Testing: Conducting pressure tests on components like fuel distribution valves (FDV) and fuel nozzles at specific pressures (300 Psi and 100 Psi).
- Leak Testing: Performing incoming leak tests on Endcovers, and ensuring components meet leak-proof standards before final assembly.
- Disassembly and Reassembly: Disassembling and reassembling parts, including fuel nozzles, ensuring all parts are in good condition and properly fitted.
- Helicoil Replacement: Replacing damaged Helicoils in parts when necessary.
- Final Inspection and Testing: Performing final inspections and tests, such as Cartridge inspection reports and pressure tests for gas tips.
You will work closely with other team members or independently, following instructions from supervisors and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in large-scale assembly and mechanical components manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and handling mechanical tools.
- Certification: Swagelok Tube Training and pressure testing certifications are required.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is essential for documentation and reporting.
