Introduction to the Job
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Barista/Coffee Server for two of Jeddah’s most well-known shopping malls: Red Sea Mall and Mall of Arabia. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages to customers, while maintaining a positive, friendly, and professional attitude. The role requires a focus on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that every customer has a great experience.

Key Responsibilities
As a Barista/Coffee Server, your main duties will include:
- Preparing and Serving Coffee & Beverages:
You will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages as per customer orders. You should be able to craft perfect espresso-based drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and other coffee beverages. In addition, you will offer non-coffee beverages such as tea, smoothies, and juices. - Providing Excellent Customer Service:
As the first point of contact for customers, your role is to ensure every customer feels welcome and satisfied. You should engage with customers in a friendly manner, take their orders, and provide recommendations when needed. - Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
Keeping the barista counter clean and organized is essential. You will need to ensure that all equipment is well-maintained, surfaces are clean, and stock levels are managed properly. This includes cleaning coffee machines and ensuring all supplies (coffee beans, milk, syrups) are stocked and fresh. - Handling Payments:
You will be responsible for accurately processing customer payments, handling cash, and using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Ensuring that transactions are completed quickly and correctly is a key part of the job. - Managing Time Efficiently:
Working in a busy environment means you must be able to handle multiple orders at once, ensuring quick service without compromising quality. You will need to work well under pressure, especially during peak hours, while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor. - Upselling and Promoting Products:
You will be expected to upsell certain products and promote new items or special offers to customers. This can involve suggesting desserts, snacks, or seasonal drinks that complement the customer’s order.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Nationality:
This position is only open to Saudi or GCC Nationals. - Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista or Coffee Server is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience in a customer service role is essential, especially in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
