Khalid Contracting is looking to hire two experienced professionals to join our culinary team in Riyadh. We are currently seeking a Bakery Chef and a Head of Chefs (Bakery) to bring creativity and expertise to our kitchen. Responsibilities:
Bakery Chef:
- Create and bake a wide range of pastries, bread, and cakes.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and decoration.
- Develop new recipes and innovate based on customer feedback.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure all baking equipment is well-maintained.
Head of Chefs (Bakery):
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient and smooth running of the bakery.
- Manage menu planning and collaborate on recipe development.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and high-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the bakery.
Qualifications:
Bakery Chef:
- Proven experience as a pastry or bakery chef, preferably in international hotels or renowned bakeries.
- Skilled in various baking techniques and cake decoration.
- Creative with the ability to develop unique recipes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and food safety standards.
Head of Chefs (Bakery):
- Extensive experience in a senior chef role, preferably in upscale restaurants or international hotels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in menu planning and managing kitchen operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in various international baking techniques.
