We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide engineering analysis and technical support for planning and executing projects. This role involves developing systems to monitor and control project progress, conducting system studies, and offering solutions to any operational issues. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule project activities based on the Project Manager’s guidance.
• Prepare and review the project’s master program and the contractor’s baseline schedule, ensuring labor, equipment, and material needs are met.
• Provide planning analysis for design-related issues.
• Structure planning studies and perform sensitivity analyses to identify potential improvements and evaluate proposed projects.
• Review and advise on Extension of Time (EoT) claims from the contractor.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and analysts, sharing your expertise.
• Participate in multi-functional teams to address comments, conduct studies, and refine plans.
• Develop and improve tools and processes that increase system reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor project progress through detailed reports such as Daily, Weekly, and Monthly updates.
• Create visual aids, including charts and diagrams, to represent project schedules clearly.
• Assist the Project Manager in managing delays and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure all Quality Department requirements and audits are met.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience in project planning and engineering.
• Strong knowledge in planning software and project management tools.
• Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and reporting.
• Strong communication skills to work with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify risks and propose solutions to improve project timelines and quality.
