2. Key Responsibilities
As a Real Estate Photographer, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Capture High-Quality Photographs and Videos: You will be responsible for taking professional photos and videos of various properties, both residential and commercial. This will include capturing exterior, interior, and aerial views, depending on the needs of each property.
- Edit and Enhance Images: After shooting, you will edit and enhance your images using professional software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to ensure each photo meets the highest standards of quality and is ready for marketing use.
- Collaborate with Real Estate Agents and Marketing Teams: You will work closely with real estate agents to understand the unique features and selling points of each property, ensuring that these are highlighted in the images.
- Manage and Maintain Photography Equipment: You will be responsible for ensuring that your photography equipment is in good condition and ready for each shoot. This includes cameras, lenses, drones (for aerial photography), lighting equipment, and other related tools.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: It’s important that you remain aware of new photography techniques and trends, as well as real estate marketing trends, to ensure your work always feels fresh and innovative.

- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Photography or a related field is required.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a Real Estate Photographer is necessary. You should have a portfolio showcasing high-quality photographs of properties that demonstrate your skill and creativity.
- Proficiency in Editing Software: You must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit and enhance images. Knowledge of other software such as Capture One is a plus.
