We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in accounting and financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting tasks for our SME-level company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage invoicing, payroll processing, and payables & receivables.
- Maintain daily expense bookkeeping and prepare monthly profit and loss statements.
- Handle tax and VAT preparation, filing, and reporting.
- Oversee financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all records.
- Provide general financial support and assistance to management as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Finance. A Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management, ideally in SME-level companies.
- Experience in managing invoicing, payroll, payables, receivables, and tax/VAT reporting.
- Locally available candidates with a residency visa are preferred.
- An Omani driving license is an advantage.
