Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility assessments for new oil and gas fields.
  • Manage and monitor drilling operations and well completions.
  • Develop drilling programs and select equipment, fluids, and testing procedures.
  • Supervise well modification and stimulation programs for optimal recovery.
  • Analyze reservoir data to design the best recovery methods.
  • Monitor and forecast reservoir performance.
  • Coordinate the installation and maintenance of subsea well-head and production equipment.

Employment Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
  • Licensing: Must be licensed by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers to practice as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong English skills are required to qualify for the PR programs.
  • Age: Applicants should be under 45 years old for immigration program eligibility.
