Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Draftsman Responsibilities

As an Architectural Draftsman, your role will focus on creating accurate and detailed architectural metal fabrication drawings. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing Submission Drawings & Submittals: Develop and submit drawings for approval, ensuring all details are captured clearly.
• Maintaining Drawing Logs: Keep track of all project drawings, revisions, and related documentation to ensure everything is organized.
• Preparing Shop Drawings: Use actual site measurements to create shop drawings for production, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
• CNC Cutting Drawings: Prepare CNC cutting drawings to optimize material usage and guide the fabrication process.
• Optimizing Cutting Materials: Plan the best way to use the materials efficiently, reducing waste and ensuring timely production.

2. Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, your role will involve overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of the project. You will be responsible for:

• Materials and Manpower Take-Offs: Calculate the materials and manpower needed for projects, ensuring all quantities are accounted for accurately.
• Preparing Detailed Bills of Quantities: Create detailed and accurate bills of quantities, listing all materials, labor, and costs involved in the project.
• Cost Evaluation and Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor costs, ensuring the project stays within budget and any variations are recorded.
• Preparing Contracts & Subcontracts: Draft and manage contracts and subcontracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly outlined.
• Payment Submissions: Submit payment requests to clients and track payment statuses to ensure timely receipts.
• Payment Status Follow-Up: Regularly follow up on payments and resolve any issues that may arise during the payment process.

Required Qualifications

Architectural Draftsman

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience for Diploma holders or 5 years for ITI holders in architectural metal fabrication drawing.
• Education: A 3-year Diploma or ITI certification in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong skills in creating shop drawings, CNC cutting drawings, and the ability to interpret architectural designs.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of metal fabrication processes, cutting optimization, and site measurement applications.

Quantity Surveyor

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying for BE/B Tech holders, or 3 years of experience for Diploma holders.
• Education: A 3-year Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Skills: Strong skills in preparing bills of quantities, cost evaluations, and contract management.
• Experience in Interior & Architectural Metal Works: Knowledge of the specifics of metalworks and their pricing is essential.
