A reputable company in Kuwait is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in the operation and logistics of construction heavy equipment. The ideal candidate should also have expertise in procurement related to spare parts and maintenance of construction heavy equipment. Bilingual candidates (English & Arabic) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop Maintenance Strategies: Design effective maintenance procedures and methods to ensure equipment reliability.
- Conduct Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks and promptly address equipment faults.
- Diagnose Issues: Identify and troubleshoot breakdown problems effectively.
- Repair Equipment: Fit new parts and ensure equipment is operational at all times.
- Quality Inspections: Carry out inspections to ensure maintenance quality.
- Manage Tools and Stores: Control maintenance tools and equipment inventory.
- Monitor Costs: Keep track of and manage maintenance expenses.
- Handle Emergencies: Address unplanned repairs and equipment emergencies efficiently.
- Ensure Continuous Operation: Provide consistent cover for machinery and equipment during breakdowns.
- Reporting: Report to the Equipment Division Manager and communicate effectively with staff and administration to complete tasks on schedule.
- Audit Operations: Conduct audits of in-house and site operations.
- Prepare Reports: Generate downtime reports for vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8-12 years experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly in construction heavy equipment.
- Valid Kuwait Driving License and Clause-18 transferable residence permit.
