Introduction to the Job

We are urgently hiring an HVAC/Electrical Foreman to join our team in Al-Rai, Kuwait. Key Responsibilities

As an HVAC/Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Read and Understand Electrical Diagrams: Be able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and repair systems.
2. System Commissioning, Diagnosis, Calibration, and Repair: Use your knowledge to commission, diagnose, calibrate, maintain, and repair environmental control systems and electrical components. This includes understanding electronics, DDC (direct digital control), airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and more.
3. Work with Engineers and Managers: Coordinate with HVAC Site Engineers, Electrical Site Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure all mechanical and electromechanical devices work according to the design specifications.
4. Troubleshoot Process Issues: Identify and resolve electrical control-related issues affecting processes and system performance.
5. Safety Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and the work environment are safe. Follow safety guidelines to perform all tasks in a safe manner as per GEC’s safety policies.
6. Flexibility and Extended Hours: Be prepared to work extended or flexible hours and in different areas as required to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HVAC and electrical control systems maintenance. Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and calibration is required.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics, DDC, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, pH sensors, flow meters, and electrical meters.
• Safety Standards Knowledge: Ability to maintain safety standards and follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for working with engineers and project managers.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt and work in different areas or shifts as needed.
• Education: Relevant technical certifications or engineering degrees in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
