We Need Accountants With 2 Years GCC Experience

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Manama. This full-time position requires a professional who can handle various financial tasks efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Closings: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process vendor and supplier payments daily, ensuring all transaction documents are attached and filed correctly.
  • Petty Cash Management: Oversee petty cash transactions, maintaining accurate records for incoming and outgoing funds.
  • Invoice Preparation: Create invoices, receipts, and Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for clients and suppliers.
  • Financial Data Management: Maintain the confidentiality of financial data and perform regular database backups while adhering to financial policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate accurate accounting reports and analyze financial data to summarize financial status.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Track all transactions, including bank statements and credit card activities, for accuracy.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial matters.
  • Account Management: Prepare entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Documentation and Auditing: Document financial transactions and substantiate them through auditing processes.
  • Salary Management: Handle accounting for driver and rider salaries, including cash salary payments.
  • Cash and COD Management: Reconcile Cash on Delivery (COD) payments with riders and manage cash deposits and withdrawals at the bank.
  • VAT Return Procedures: Ensure compliance with VAT return regulations.
  • Zoho System Management: Register all transactions in the Zoho system, including receivables and payables.
  • Asset and Prepayment Management: Keep records of fixed assets and manage prepayments.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
