Job Overview

As a Shawarma Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality shawarma to our customers. Your expertise in cutting and preparing meat will ensure a delightful dining experience.

Responsibilities

Cutting Shawarma

• Cut shawarma precisely and continuously using knives or special equipment.
• Ensure the meat is sliced evenly for easy consumption.
• Confirm that meats are perfectly grilled before cutting.

Preparing Meats

• Marinate meats (beef or chicken) with traditional spices and special ingredients.
• Arrange meats on the shawarma skewer to ensure even cooking.
• Monitor the grilling process and adjust the temperature for proper cooking.

Adhering to Food Safety Standards

• Clean and sanitize all tools used in the shawarma preparation regularly.
• Follow health guidelines to ensure the safety of the meat and food served.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area throughout the preparation and serving process.

Customer Interaction (When Needed)

• Serve shawarma in front of customers while upholding hygiene and presentation standards.
• Address customer requests quickly and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
• Present shawarma in an appealing manner with the correct portion size.

Time Management

• Organize tasks between grilling and cutting to fulfill orders quickly during peak times.
• Work effectively during busy periods to prevent delays in service.

Preparing Side Orders

• Assist in preparing side items (bread, sauces, salads) to accompany the shawarma.
• Pack sandwiches or meals neatly according to customer requests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or similar roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
