Job Overview
As a Cashier, you will manage transactions and provide excellent customer service. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and friendly experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
Processing Payments
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments and manage receipts.
- Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Order Management
- Double-check orders for accuracy before payment.
- Inform customers about promotions, special deals, or new menu items.
- Ensure receipts are provided to the correct customers.
Cashier Area Maintenance
- Keep the cashier counter clean and organized.
- Manage necessary supplies for the register.
Reporting and Documentation
- Generate daily financial reports as needed.
- Report any transaction or equipment issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
